In many applications, our customers desire to add a touch panel or front cover glass to the LCD solution. Conventional adhesive methods leave a small air gap between these layers creating internal reflections which create diminished display performance i.e. poor contrast, low color saturation, etc.


A solution to this challenge is to utilize an optical bonding process, which eliminates the air gap by affixing the LCD panel to the top layer with a UV curable liquid adhesive.  As a result, it dramatically reduces the amount of interface reflections.
